GONGURA CHICKEN/SORREL LEAVES CHICKEN




INGREDIENTS:

Chicken- 1/2kg(Boneless Skinless cut into small pieces)
Gongura leaves-1 cup(chopped)
Onions-1(sliced)
Tomatoes-2(chopped)
Ginger&garlic paste-2 tbs
Turmeric powder-1/2 tbs
Chilly powder-2 tbs
Garam masala powder-1/2 tbs
Cumin powder-1 tbs
Coconut powder-1 tbs
Water
Salt
Oil

HOW TO COOK:

   .Heat oil in the pan and add sliced onions, saute
    till they turn light golden brown.
   .Add ginger&garlic paste cook till you get rid off
    raw smell.Add tomatoes cook till it turns soft.
   .Now Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5-10 minutes,
    Then add turmeric powder,chilly powder,salt and give
    a stir.Cover the pan with lid  and cook the chicken.
   .Meanwhile take a bowl add 1 tbs oil,gongura leaves
    and water cook it turns soft and keep it aside
   .Now and add the garam masala,cumin powder and coconut
    powder to the chicken mix well Cook until chicken is done.
   .Now add boiled gongura mix well switch off the flame
    then serve it hot rice.
