INGREDIENTS:
1 bunch Pudhina/Mint
4 Green chillies
5 Garlic cloves
1-2 cups Boiled rice
1 tbs Chana dal
1 tbs Ground nuts
1/4 cup coconut powder
1/2 cup chopped Onion
1/2 cup chopped spring onion
1tbs Mustard seeds&Cumin seeds
Small tamarind
Salt to taste
Water
DIRECTIONS TO COOK:
1.Grind Garlic, Green chilies,coconut then add raw pudhina/mint leaves,tamarind, water
and make a fine paste.
2.Heat a pan, pour oil add mustard&cumin seeds let them splutter add chana dal,ground nut saute
for few seconds.Saute then add chopped onions until they turn soft.
3.To this add the pudhina paste and saute till it gets cooked (Till the raw flavor gone). add
spring onions saute for a minute finally add boiled rice mix well and switch off the flame.
Note - Alternate would be to add small onions instead of big onions.
A good option for left over rice.
