VEGETABLE IDLY USING IDLY RICE




INGREDIENTS:

3 cups Idly rice
1 cup Urad dal
1 tbs Fenugreek seeds
1/4 cup finely chopped Onion(optional)
1/4 cup finely chopped beans
1/4 cup finely chopped Capsicum
1/4 cup grated Carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped Green chilly
1 tbs mustard seeds
1 tbs cumin seeds
Little bit Baking soda (Your idly even more soft)
Salt
Water
Oil.

                                                   

METHOD:

 .Sock rice,fenugreek and urad dal for 6 hours and make a course paste(same like idly ravva              consistency)
 .Ferment this batter for over night
 .Heat oil in a pan add musturdseeds,cuminseeds let them splutter add greenchilly,capsicum saute
  for few minutes and add grated carrot,onion,salt after 2 minutes switch off the flame.


 .Add this cooked vegetable mixture to the idly batter and add baking soda mix well.
                                 

  .Now  drop  the batter in a idly tray put it in a streamer then let it cook for 10-15 minutes
   switch off the flame.
                                                   
  .Serve it with idly peanut chutney /idly powder.
