BENDAKAYA/OKRA PULUSU





INGREDIENTS:

2 cup Bendakaya/okra peaces
1/2 cup chopped Onion
1/2 cup chopped Tomato
1/4 tbs Fenugreek seeds
4 Green chilly
6 Garlic cloves
Lemon size tamarind
1 tbs Cumin powder
1 tbs Red chilly powder
1 tbs Coriander powder
Turmeric powder
1 pinch Jaggery
1 pinch Hing
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Temparing: Mustard seeds,cumin seeds,urad dal,chanadal,curryleaves.

                                         

METHOD:

.Heat oil in a pan add  mustard seeds when mustard seeds crackle add fenugreek  seeds,cumin seeds,urad dal,chana dal saute for a minute.And add green chilly and garlic, curry leaves,onion, turmeric powder, hing, toss for a half a minute  till the flavors comes out.



.Now add tomato and cook it for 3 minutes then add okra (cut them into 1 inch size)  saute
 them.

 .And add red chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder,salt,tamarind juice, water mix it and
  put the  lid on and cook for 10 minutes in a slow flame till okra is tender.
 


 .Add jaggery mix it well and garnish with coriander leaves put the lid on rest for 15 minutes after
  that serve this with rice
