Karivepaku powder| How to make Curry leaves powder



curry leaves powder : Curry leaves provide us numerous health benefits like boosting iron       levels, control blood sugar levels,aids in digestion and flushes toxins away from stomach.folks
with low iron levels will benefits from regular use of curry leaves.A tbs of this  powder eaten
with rice in the beginning of the meal  is said increase the digestion.
        There may be different ways of making curry leaves powder. i am sharing the method i make at home. I make this upma,semiya upma,idli. adjust the amount of red chilies in the recipe to suite your taste.This karivepaku powder is healthy,delicious and quick to make.

A simple karivepaku powder:

INGREDIENTS:

1 Big cup tightly packed fresh curry leaves
2 tbs chana dal
2 tbs cumin seeds
3 tbs peanuts
6 red chilies
5 garlic cloves
salt to taste
oil


STEP BY STEP PHOTOS HOW TO MAKE CURRY LEAVES POWDER:

1.Clean and wash curry leaves with water and dry them with clean cotton cloth.And even you
   can  leave it for few hours to dry.
2.Dry roast all ingredients separately chana dal,peanuts,red chilies,cumin seeds and  kept a
  side to cool down.
                 



3.To the same pan add 1 tbs oil and heat add curry leaves fry un till they turn crisp.

4.Take a mix jar first  add red chilly,chana dal,cumin seeds,peanuts and make a 1/2 course
   powder  now add curry leaves,garlic cloves,salt and make a fine powder./you can use stone
   grinder to prepare curry leaves powder.


5.This step is very important   heat 3 tbs oil in a pan add curry leaves powder in a slow flame
   saute frequently  for 2 minutes.
5. Your tasty curry leaves  powder is ready to serve with rice with ghee,upma,semiya upma,idly.
