Fish pulusu recipe: Andhra style fish pulusu is one of my mom"s specialty recipe for which every one in our family and friends likes a lot.This is not an authentic Andhra fish pulusu recipe,but also a quick and easy version of making a yummy south Indian style or Andhra fish curry using tamarind.
This fish curry recipe is the followed my mom"s home for years.we haven"t looked back for any
other recipe since the results are good.A paste of poppy seeds,coriander,cloves garlic,coconut makes the gravy taste delicious.this Andhra fish curry taste the best after when consumed after 2
to 3 hours of cooking.
A simple paneer butter masala recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
1 kg of fish cut into equal size peaces
1 1/2 cup chopped onion
2 chopped tomatoes
10 green chilly
1 spring curry leaves
2 tbs red chilly powder
1/2 tbs turmeric powder
2 tbs coconut powder
1/2 cup coriander leaves
1 pinch jaggery
2 big lemon sizes tamarind
salt to taste

Tip: fish curry need more red chilly powder for delicious taste.
4 tbs poppy seeds
1 tbs cumin seeds
2 tbs coriander seeds
8 garlic cloves
2 tbs coconut powder
1 small lemon size ginger
6 cloves
Take a mixi jar add cumin seeds,coriander seeds,garlic cloves,ginger,cloves and make a fine paste if required add water.
A STEP BY STEP PHOTOS TO MAKE ANDHRA STYLE FISH PULUSU:
1 Heat a wide pan add onion,green chilly,curry leaves,salt saute till the onion little transparent
then add tomato saute un till tomatoes gets mash.
2.Now add masala paste and cook till it turns golden brown,and add red chilly powder,salt,
turmeric powder,fish peaces mix well and slow cook it for 3 minutes.
3.Then add tamarind juice,water,coconut powder gently mix well (do not mix frequently the
peaces will break) place the lid and slow cook for 15 minutes.
5.Now your taste Andhra style fish pulusu is ready to serve with rice and dosa.
