Stuffed kakarakaya fry recipe: Sharing a simple stuffed bitter guard recipe made south indian style. This goes very well with plain rice and ghee or as side with rasam rice,sambar rice and curd rice.bitter guard is said to be one of the veggies that regulates blood sugar levels so it is good to use them occasionally.This bitter guard recipe is from my mum,very simple to make and turns out to be very good.
If any one who does not like the flavor of bitter guard then this is a must try recipe.The flavor of garlic,coriander powder,cumin powder makes the kakarakaya taste delicious.
A simple stuffed bitter gourd recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
4 numbers/250 grams karela/bitter gourd/kakarakayalu
3 tbs red chilly powder
2 tbs coriander seeds/coriander powder
1 tbs cumin seeds
salt to taste
1 pinch turmeric powder
5 garlic cloves
oil
A STEP BY STEP PHOTOS TO MAKE STUFFED KARELA FRY:
1.Wash and dry with cloth.slit bitter gourds from one side and Remove seeds.
2.For deep frying kakarakaya heat oil till hot and add stilted karela peaces,flip them to both the
sides and cook them till karela little brown.
.Take mixi jar add red chilly,cumin seeds,coriander seeds,salt,turmeric powder,garlic cloves and make a fine powder.
.Take deep fried karela and stuff the fine powder.
.Heat 1 tbs oil in a pan arrange all stuffed lobia peaces in a slow flame cook it for 3 minutes and switch off the flame.
