Broad beans fry | How to make chikkudukaya fry recipe


chikkudukaya fry recipe: Broad Beans are rich sources of vitamin A and C required for good vision,skin,growth and bone development.Broad Beans are also a rich source of fiber it help
improve your blood sugar and cholesterol levels.This is one of me and my family favorite recipe,
this recipe beat the chicken curry  for vegetarians with out seeds the taste of the curry is not as we expected (when ever you buy select the seeded broad beans),with seeds its taste delicious and
 yummy these seeds increase the taste of total curry.
 My one year daughter also likes to eat this curry with seeds.this is one of most  favorite
 andhra style chikkudukaya,tomato curry.Its easy and simple to make tastes very good this
 usually served with rice,chapathi and roti.


A simple broad beans fry recipe:

prep time  cook time   total time                                        
  5 mins    10 mins      15 mins

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup chopped broad beans/250 grms
1 onion chopped
5 green chilly chopped
1 tbs finely chopped ginger and  garlic peaces
1 tbs red chilly powder
1/4 tbs turmeric powder
2 tbs coconut powder
1 tbs coriander powder
5 garlic cloves
salt to taste
1 spring curry leaves
coriander leaves
oil
Tempering: mustard seeds,cumin seeds,chana dal,urad dal-1 tbs
2 dry chilies




A STEP BY STEP PHOTOS TO MAKE BROAD BEANS FRY RECIPE:

.Pressure cook broad beans un till one whistle,after cool down strain them.

.Take a mixi jar/stone grinder add coconut powder,coriander powder,garlic cloves,red chilly  powder,salt(1/2 tbs red chilly ,salt remaining will add into the main curry) and make a
 fine powder.



.Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and allow it to splutter,add chanadal,urad dal,
 red chilly saute for 2 minutes till they turn lite brown.Add green chilies, curry leaves,onion and
 saute till  onion turn golden brown (if u add little salt to  onion,those will cook fast).





. Now add boiled and strained broad beans,red chilly powder,salt,turmeric  powder(hear you add
  little bit) mix well in a slow flame cook it for 5 minuted and add grinded fine  powder mix well           after 3 minutes garnish with cilantro and switch off the flame.




.Now your tasty chikkudukaya fry is ready to serve as a side dish with rasam/main as a chapathi.
