Munagaku vepudu | How to make drumstick leaves fry | Drumstick leaves stir fry recipe

Drumstick leaves fry recipe:
Drumstick leaves which commonly known as Moringa Olivera leaves have been researched recently for any medical purposes.Drumstick leaves are very commonly used to make stir fry,dal,sambar or drumstick curry,chutney.though we have drumstick trees in our backyard,my grand mother and mom both likes to make drumstick leaves fry.To day i am showing my grand mom's  drumstick leaves fry recipe and it is easy and simple to make.you can serve drumstick leaves fry with chapathi and roti. we specially prepare this fry when we make jowar roti and bajra roti you can find jowar roti preparation in my blog.


Drumstick leaves are said to normalize blood sugar,protect the healthy eyes,strengthen the bones and are recommended to be used frequently.Its healthy,simple and easy to make .

A simple munagaku vepudu recipe:

INGREDIENTS:(240 ml cup used)

1 big size bowl /1 bunch  drumstick leaves
8 garlic cloves
2 green chilly
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup dry coconut peaces(3 tbs coconut powder)
3/4 cup peanuts
8 dry red chilly
1/2 tbs mustard seeds
1/2 tbs cumin seeds
1/2 cup chana dal
1/4 tbs turmeric powder
1 spring curry leaves
salt to taste
oil
               


 A STEP BY STEP PHOTOS TO MAKE DRUMSTICK LEAVES FRY RECIPE:

.Dry roast peanuts and dry red chilies. Cool down.




.Take a mixi jar add dry  roasted peanuts,dry red chilly,dry coconut,5 garlic cloves and salt grinded it   to a fine powder.


.Heat 2 tbs oil in a pan add mustard seeds,cumin seeds let them splutter add chana dal saute untill turn  light brown.


.Then add onion,remaining slitted garlic cloves, slitted green chilly saute it for 2 minutes. And add  drumstick leaves,turmeric powder fry un till leaves gets soft .( you can boil drumstick leaves separately  and add).



.Finally add grinded fine powder mix well after 3 minutes switch off the flame.



.Now your tasty and healthy munagaku vepudu is ready to serve with chapati and jowar roti/bajri roti.
