stir fry.Today I am sharing ladies finger fry called as bendakaya palli vepudu in Telugu.Simple
and homely recipe of bhindi fry made andhra style. There are different versions of making this
andhra style bhindi fry.This can be served as side dish,this is one of the most popular recipe.it's
easy and simple to prepare.
A simple okra fry recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
Bendhi /okra -500 grms
Garlic cloves - 5
Peanuts - 1/4 cup
Cashews - 10
Curry leaves - 3 springs
Coconut powder - 4 tbs
Red chilly powder - 1 1/2 tbs
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbs
Salt to taste
Oil
Tempering - mustard seeds,cumin seeds,chana dal ,urad dal - 2 tbs
Dry red chillies - 3
STEP BY STEP PHOTOS TO MAKE OKRA STIR FRY RECIPE:
.Wash and rinse water and dry them with clean cloth.
.Remove the heads and tails and cut them into slices.Cut them into 1 cm peaces approximately.
.Spread them into a paper or on a clean dry cloth let them dry over night / for 1 hour under
sunlight. The peaces are dry now.
.Heat 2 tbs oil in a wide pan add peanuts roast them add cashew nuts roast it for a minute add curry leaves fry untill they stop spluttering.take them into a plate and keep aside.(To day i am not
having curry leaves).
.Cover and cook in a medium heat untill the bendhi peaces becomes tender or turn into olive green color.(in case if your fry gets gummy add 1 tbs of yogurt or lemon juice and mix well.then the gum disappears).
.Add turmeric powder red chilly powder,salt mix gently and fry for 2 minutes on low heat add coconut powder mix gently add roasted nuts turn off the heat.
.Now your tasty okra fry is ready to serve.
