Carrot bajji recipe: Carrot fritters are crispy and luscious snack made with sliced carrots coated with spicy chick pea flour,rice flour batter. Bajji is a quick and easy snack which can be prepared in just 15 minutes.It does not need much ingredients.You can prepare bajji with vegetables like brinjal,raw plantain,onion,chilly,baby corn,carrot,cauliflower etc. Bajji or Bhaji or Bhajji is unique spicy Indian snack similar to the pakora or fritters to day i am showing kids favorite carrot bajji.
A simple carrot bajji recipe:

INGREDIENTS:(240 ml cup used)
2 cups Basin powder
1/2 cup rice flour
1 tbs Tymol seeds/carom seeds
1/2 tbs red chilly powder(according to your taste)
1/2 tbs Turmeric powder
1/2 tbs chat masala
1/2 tbs ginger garlic paste(optional)
1/4 tbs Baking soda
1/2 tbs Oil
Salt to taste
Water for mixing
STEP BY STEP PHOTOS TO MAKE CARROT BAJJI RECIPE:
.Wash and peel the carrot and make thin slices.
.Take a bowl add all ingredients(basin powder,rice flour,tymol seeds,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste red chilly powder,salt) mix well.Then slowly add water and mix properly with out forming lums mix it like a bajji batter.
.Now add baking soda and hot oil to this batter(to get crispy bajjies).Rest it for 15 minutes.
.Take out on paper towel to observe excess oil.
.Serve it hot,with sweet chutney and sprinkle some chat masala.
