RIDGE GOURD PEAL PICKLE



INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Ridge gourd peel
1 tbs Sesame seeds
1 tbs Groundnuts
4 Garlic Cloves
8 Green chillies
Cumin seeds
Tamarind small peace
Cilantro
Salt to taste
Oil
Tadka-red chilly, mustard seeds,cumin seeds,black gram,
bengal gram,hing,curry leaves.

HOW TO PREPARE:

  1.In a pan heat oil then, add ground nuts, sesame seeds,
    and saute them.
  2.Keep this aside and again in the same pan, add oil,gre
    en chilly,cumin seeds,tamerind,ridge gourd peel and cook
    it for few minutes then switch off the flame and let it
    cool down.
  3.In a blender blend groundnuts,sesame seeds,greenchilly,
    cooked ridge gourd peel,garlic cloves,cumin seeds,salt
    with the help of little water to make a coarse paste.
  4.For tempering heat oil in a pan,add black gram, bengal
    gram, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and saute it.
  5.Add curry leaves, asafoetida and add the ridge gourd
    mixture.
  6.Mix thoroughly and cook it for another 5 minutes then
    switch off the flame.
  7.Tasty chutney is ready to serve with rice, chapati and roti.
