INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Toor dal
2 chopped big Tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped Onion
5 Green chilies
1 tbs Red chilly powder
1/2 tbs Turmeric powder
6 crushed Garlic flakes
Salt to taste
Oil/Butter
Water
Tempering:mustard seeds,cumin seeds,red chilly,hing,chana dal,urad dal,
curry leaves.
METHOD:
.Pressure cook toor dal,green chilly,tomato,red chilly powder,onion,turmeric
powder cook till u get 3 whistles,add salt mash them till they soft.
.To prepare the tempering,heat ghee in frying pan, add mustard and cumin
seeds, stir on medium heat until they begin to pop,add garlic and stir-fry
until golden brown.
.Then add red chilies,hing and curry leaves,stir until the chilies becomes
bright red, and pour over the mashed daal .
