FISH CURRY



INGREDIENTS:

2 Lbs fish
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped tomatoes
4 tbs tamarind paste
1/4 tbs fenugreek seeds
3 green chilly
11/2 tbs red chilly powder
2 tbs Ginger and garlic paste
2 tbs poppy seeds
1 tbs coconut powder
1/2 cumin seeds
1/2 sesame seeds
1 tbs coriander powder
salt to taste
coriander leaves
turmeric powder
little bit jaggery
5 Cloves
curry leaves
Oil

FOR MASALA PASTE:

Poppy seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, coconut powder and coriander powder all together
make a paste.

METHOD:

.  Head oil in a wide pan, cloves , fenugreek seeds,green chilly, onions, curry leaves,
   Ginger and garlic paste saute till the onions truns little gold color.
.  Now add tomato cook till the tomato get soft.
.  Now add masala paste and cook for 10 minutes.
.  Now add tamarind paste, jaggery, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and water
   cook it for 15 minutes.
.  Now add Fish peaces put the lid on, cook till the fish get soft and observe the masala.
.  Finally top it with coriander leaves and your taste fish curry is ready to serve with rice and dosa.
