Masala ghee rice | Perfect ghee rice recipe | Left over rice recipe

Masala ghee rice:

Masala ghee Rice is a very quick and magical item which you can prepare with left over rice.The recipe calls for less ingredients and less time.I love this rice very much and brings back my childhood memories, kids will even love this fusion .
Masala ghee rice is one of the easiest and yummiest recipes you can prepare in a short period of time. Take a look at this vegetarian recipe.




 A simple ghee rice recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

Rice (boiled) -  2 cups
Cumin seeds - 1 tbs
Bay leaf -  2 no's
Cashew nuts  - 50 g / 10
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Green chilly - 4
Onion - 1 finely chopped
Carrots - 3 finely chopped/Green peaces - 1 cup
Salt
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbs
Chilly powder - 1/2 tbs
coriander powder - 1/2 tbs
garam masala  - 1/4 tbs



STEP BY STEP PHOTOS TO MAKE MASALA GHEE RICE:

1. Heat ghee in a pan add cumin seeds,bay leaf, curry leaves and cashew nuts saute for a minute.



. And add green chilly,green peas/carrots fry untill carrots cook well then add chopped onions fry   untill onion turn light brown.



.Then add salt, and turmeric,chilly powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,garam masala and  mix well  finally garnish with cilantro and add boiled rice and mix this well.




.Now your tasty yummy rice is ready to serve hot.
